Red Rock Midwifery is all about professional yet intuitive midwifery care in the comfort of your own home. From the very first prenatal, through the 6 week postpartum checkup of mama and baby, Red Rock Midwifery specializes in personalized attention for mama and baby. Serving Northern Arizona, including Sedona, Cottonwood, Cornville, Flagstaff, Rimrock, Jerome, Camp Verde-with the occasional jaunt to Prescott and beyond.

Prenatal care includes visits in your home that are an hour to two hours long. During those months, we will do as much education and preparation as you want and need. Upon our agreement to work together, I am on-call for you 24/7. I will arrive at your home when you are in labor, and stay, on average, 3-4 hours after birth. I will provide basic newborn care for your baby and postpartum care for both you and baby up to 6 weeks after birth.
Included in your care is basic birth supplies, my own herbal products for pregnancy and postpartum, the use of a birth pool and also select homeopathic and aromatherapy products. I find the use of these amazing “supplements” to be extraordinary, and I am happy to share them with my clients as part of your care.
For a good “explanation” of midwife fees, please read this. Note that a vaginal, hospital birth (without insurance) is in the neighborhood of $10,000! Midwives are quite a bargain. However, I am willing to engage in barter agreements as a method of payment. I am also flexible with the payment schedule. Whether or not we can work with your insurance is dependent on your insurance covering homebirth! If homebirth is covered, we can go from there.

If you are planning a hospital birth but would like the benefits of midwife care throughout your pregnancy, please contact me. If there is room in my schedule, I will consider providing education/counseling type visits for you during your pregnancy and even after the baby is here. Instead of focusing on homebirth, we will talk about basic nutrition for pregnancy, labor and birth, as well as the myriad of choices you will be faced with in the hospital. Ideal for women that want to avoid unnecessary interventions and who desire more education and information than is usually provided by your average OB. I can also provide additional prenatal care for you and offer you natural health alternatives. Please contact me for details!
